Using the dashboard

Find the right server, inspect live and historical logs, and export records for your team.

Start with the right community and server

Use the dashboard selectors to choose your community and server. Overview shows server status, recent activity totals, and your server list. Logs and Settings use the selected context, so check it before investigating an issue or changing configuration.

Inspect live and historical logs

  1. Open Logs and select Live to follow incoming events, or choose a historical time range.
  2. Narrow the view with category, resource, event, or player filters.
  3. Open an entry to inspect its structured data and player context when available.
  4. Pause the live view while reading, then use Resume to catch up. Pausing the view does not turn off server logging.
  5. If a result is missing, widen the time range and clear filters before investigating capture or permissions.

Export records

The Export action downloads CSV for the selected server and time range when your role allows exporting. With Live selected, export uses the preceding 24 hours. The current export request uses server and time range, so do not assume category, player, resource, or event filters narrow the CSV.

Open XenLogs in txAdmin

When txAdmin's monitor resource is running and the resource has the configured child-process permission, XenLogs adds its panel to txAdmin. Reload the txAdmin browser page after starting XenLogs. The web dashboard remains available directly at /xenlogs.
